Figure skating always features its share of flair. This year, the event ended with full-on metaphorical fireworks in the form of a nationally televised F-bomb.

United States star Alysa Liu secured a gold medal in the 2026 Winter Olympics women's figure skating final on Thursday, using a third-ranked short program (76.59) and a top-ranked free skate (150.20) to finish atop the leaderboard in Milan — her first-ever Olympic gold.

As she wrapped up her terrific performance, Liu dropped an enthusiastic F-bomb on her way out, addressing the broadcast camera with pure excitement.

Here's a look at Liu's NSFW reaction to her free skate Thursday, becoming the United States' first gold medalist in the event since 2002.

Alysa Liu F-bomb reaction to Olympic gold-medal free skate

Liu's performance in Thursday's free skate portion of the women's figure skating singles event, somehow, was even better than her short program skate on Tuesday. After finishing third on Tuesday, she took the ice and one-upped herself.

Liu posted a 150.20 in the free skate, the best mark by almost three full points.

Liu became the first U.S. woman to medal in the event since 2006 and the first to win gold since 2002.

After securing gold, she showed plenty of respect to the bronze medalist, Ami Nakai, who skated last and would have had a shot to step into first place.
