Thailand host Singapore at the Thammasat Stadium in Pathum Thani on Thursday for an international friendly before resuming their 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
With nine points in four games, the War Elephants are currently vying for a place in the Saudi Arabian showpiece with Turkmenistan, who lead the Group D standings on head-to-head record.
After losing to the Emerald 3-1 on matchday two, Anthony Hudson's side overcame Chinese Taipei home and away, beating them 2-0 in Bangkok before a crushing 6-1 victory in the return.
But since their upcoming clash is only a friendly, Thailand could field a slightly different lineup, with one eye on the qualifier against Sri Lanka next week.
Head coach Hudson has called up 23 players for this month's double-header, including veteran midfielder Theerathon Bunmathan who has 105 caps for Thailand. Iklas Sanron and Jude Soonsup-Bell are the only two uncapped players in the squad.
Singapore too are in the mix for the Asian Cup, sitting in second place in Group C with eight points in four games, behind leaders Hong Kong by virtue of fewer goals scored.
After three winless outings, the Lions returned to winning ways with a 2-1 defeat of India last month. Lallianzuala Chhangte fired the Blue Tigers in front after only 14 minutes into the kick-off, but Song Ui-young netted a brace to secure the win.
