The Buffalo Bills suffered what appears to be a serious injury in Week 12 against the Houston Texans.
In the third quarter, linebacker Terrel Bernard was in the midst of making a tackle when fellow linebacker Matt Milano came over and joined him. Bernard was grabbing his arm after the play and taken directly to the locker room. It looked like Milano's helmet banged into Bernard's arm, which is likely what caused the injury.
In terms of the extent of the injury, that is unknown, but considering how much pain he was clearly in combined with going straight to the locker room, this looks like it could be a serious injury for No. 8.
Bernard is one of Buffalo's captains. He was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Baylor. He replaced Tremaine Edmunds as the starter in 2023 alongside Milano
