Team USA star Mikaela Shiffrin capped off her emotional comeback at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics with a heartwarming photo.
After clinching the gold medal in the alpine skiing women's slalom, her first Olympic hardware in eight years, Shiffrin celebrated in the most unlikely place - her bed.
The 30-year-old American skier shared her exhausting post-race moment via Instagram on Thursday, Feb. 19.
"Not a lot going on right now…🥇," she captioned the post.
The Team USA star included a cozy photo, which showed her laying across a bed while rocking gray pajamas covered in hot chocolate cups and her gold medal still wrapped around her neck.
"Perfect place after those super intense days!!! Sooooo goooooood!!" one person commented.
"Sleep of champions🤌🏻 It's a pleasure watching you make history once again! So, sooooo happy for you! Enjoy your moment," another gushed.

Her slalom victory was a major milestone that deserved an epic celebration.
With two impressive runs, Shiffrin finished comfortably ahead of her competition, recording a total time of 1:39:10, to secure her first Olympic medal since 2018.
Immediately after her run, she crouched down and bent her head over her skis to stare at the snow for a brief moment, clearly trying to soak in the moment.

Now, she can walk away calling herself a three-time gold medalist.
That's definitely something to celebrate.
