The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will write the next chapter in their historic rivalry this Sunday when Kansas City travels to Buffalo. The last time these two teams faced off, Tyler Bass missed a game-tying field goal that ended the Bills' season as Kansas City defeated the Bills in the playoffs for the third time.
Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce were both in attendance for the playoff game. But according to Adam Lefkoe, it's unlikely they will attend this week's matchup in Buffalo after reportedly not having a great experience this past January.
"I have heard from people very close [to the Kelces] that it was not a great experience in Buffalo," Lefkoe said on Up & Adams. "For all parties involved. And I'm talking about the most famous of all the parties. I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got. I think they were kind of going in just thinking this is going to be an amazing game with good energy. And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form and its complete ruthlessness and I think they left and said 'I don't know if I want to experience that again."
And frankly, good. Did they expect Bills fans to bow to them just because she's Taylor Swift and he's Jason Kelce? Who cares? You support the other team so Bills fans, as they should, gave them a little lighthearted booing and jeering. That's sports. It always has been. And should both of them be at the game this week, Bills fans should be in full throat once again.
