Actress Sydney Sweeney celebrated NASCAR’s season finale, sharing a cheerful post congratulating Ryan Blaney on his victory at Phoenix Raceway. The Euphoria and Anyone But You star was the event’s special celebrity guest, waving the championship checkered flag and joining pre-race ceremonies before watching the title showdown unfold.
After the race, Sweeney took to Instagram to post a carousel of photos alongside Blaney, writing:
“love me some @nascar and congrats to @ryanblaney12 and the team!!!”Sydney Sweeney, joined by her parents, including her father, Steven Sweeney, was seen in a white jacket, T-shirt, and shorts as she made her rounds in the garage area before the race. She even met William Byron after the drivers’ meeting, where Austin Dillon introduced her to the Hendrick Motorsports star.
During pre-race ceremonies, Sweeney addressed the Phoenix grandstands with a message:
“Remember what this checkered flag stands for: you’re not just another driver; you’re a NASCAR champion.”Following the checkered flag, Sweeney joined Ryan Blaney and Team Penske in Victory Lane to celebrate the race win, as Kyle Larson clinched the championship to end a long and dramatic NASCAR season.
Ryan Blaney reflects on “an unforgettable year” after season finale

Starting from fifth, the 2023 Cup Series champion stayed consistent throughout the 312-lap race, running inside the top 5 for most of the afternoon. He finished second in both stages and kept pace with Denny Hamlin’s dominant No. 11 Toyota.
In the final restart, Blaney took two tires and held his line to edge Brad Keselowski by less than a tenth of a second, sealing the victory as Kyle Larson claimed the title by finishing (P3) highest among the Championship 4 contenders.
After the race, Blaney posted his carousel on Instagram, featuring moments from pit road, including a photo with Sydney Sweeney and her father, captioned:
“What an incredible way to wrap up the 2025 season. Sharing that Victory Lane moment with the 12 Team and RP is a reminder of how truly special we are @team_penske. Thanks to all of our partners and fans for an unforgettable year.”While Larson walked away with the Bill France Cup, Ryan Blaney’s 2025 campaign was arguably his strongest yet. The Team Penske driver won four races and earned 15 top 5s, the most in any season of his Cup career. He narrowly missed a return to the Championship 4, but his consistency and pace established him as one of the strongest drivers this year.
NASCAR returns in 89 days, kicking off with the Cook Out Clash exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
