Sydney Sweeney Reveals Whether She’s Gotten Plastic Surgery
Sydney Sweeney is shimmering, literally.
The Euphoria actress stepped out at Variety’s 2025 Power of Women ceremony in Los Angeles braless in a sheer silver gown Oct. 29.
Sporting her new bob hairdo, the 28-year-old paired the Christian Cowan x Elias Matso crystal dress with minimal silver jewelry and subdued makeup, with thin winged eyeliner and a matte lip.
During the event itself, Sydney spoke about female empowerment, especially when it came to her latest role playing professional boxer Christy Martin in Christy.
“I know what it feels like to be underestimated—to have people define you before you’ve had a chance to define yourself,” Sydney said during the ceremony. “I know what it feels like to have to prove that you deserve to be here."
As she put it, “Christy reminds us all that strength doesn’t have to look loud sometimes, sometimes it’s just about getting back up again and again no matter who’s watching.”
And considering Sydney has recently switched up her look, she may be exploring a new side of herself yet to be defined. After all, she previously explained that she loves to use fashion to play with her self expression.
“Fashion is a really fun way of embracing different sides of yourself,” Sydney explained to People last August. “Some days, I might feel very girly, some days, I might feel edgy. Others, I might feel like I want to be more laid-back. It's a way of being able to express those different sides of how I feel or who I am."

Indeed, Sydney emphasized that she isn’t always going to stick to one trend when it comes to her style.
“That's what's so amazing, especially about being a woman, is being able to embrace all the different sides of ourselves, because we are so multifaceted and there's so much going on,” she added. “I can never imagine being one thing for the rest of my life.”
