The former AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland sent out a message providing an update amid his hiatus from TV. Swerve has been out of action for more than two months now.
At the Forbidden Door 2025 event, Swerve Strickland failed to capture the AEW Unified Championship from Kazuchika Okada. Swerve has not been on TV ever since, as he has been dealing with a meniscus injury and had to undergo surgery as well. Fans have been wondering when Strickland will be back in action, as it's been over two months.
Meanwhile, Swerve Strickland seemingly provided an update amid his hiatus from All Elite Wrestling. Taking to the X social media platform, Strickland shared his bare body picture, seemingly while taking a laser treatment. He also wrote the following one-word message in his post:

It was reported a few months back that Swerve has been dealing with a torn meniscus for years and finally decided to go for surgery during the ongoing hiatus. There is no confirmation regarding when he will be back in action as of yet.
Tony Khan recently provided an update on Swerve Strickland amid his AEW absence
Tony Khan was asked about the potential recovery date of Swerve Strickland and when he will be healthy for a return during the recent WrestleDream 2025 media call. Khan assured that Swerve is on a good pace and could be back sooner rather than later:
"With Swerve [Strickland], it’s a shorter timetable. I can’t say exactly when because I’m not a doctor and I don’t want to put words in his mouth, but based on the conversations I’ve had, even today, I think he’s on a good pace and Swerve [will be back]osooner rather than later," Tony said.Fans will have to wait and see when the former AEW World Champion returns to action and what creative plans are there for him upon his return.
