HoYoverse has officially teased The Dahlia in Honkai Star Rail in the latest drip marketing campaign, confirming her arrival in the version 3.8 update. The official reveal also validates that she will join the Fire roster treading on the Nihility Path. Thanks to the leaks shared by Dimbreath, a credible third-party, players got a glimpse at The Dahlia’s gameplay and idle stance.

Honkai Star Rail The Dahlia animation leak explored

The Dahlia in Honkai Star Rail is a member of the Ever-Flame Mansion who was recently teased via the drip marketing campaign. Being a Nihility character, she is expected to take on the sub-DPS role in various team compositions.

The preview shared by Dimbreath further shows her gameplay animation from the ongoing closed beta test. The Dahlia uses her Basic ATK to summon blue flames that deal Fire damage to a designated target. She can also launch a follow-up attack after an ally hits a target.

Skill

She can cast her Skill to manifest multiple candles that surround the enemies. She then shatters them to deal damage to the targets in an AoE. It appears that the ability creates a zone that debuffs enemies.

Ultimate

When you activate The Dahlia’s ultimate, she lights some ritual circle to trap enemies in a special zone. The ability further deals damage to the opponent and debuffs them.

Idle animations

Like most characters in the game, The Dahlia has two idle animations. She pretends to be dancing with an imaginary partner in the first one. In the other animation, she just poses on her own.

When will The Dahlia be released in HSR

As specified, The Dahlia is confirmed to debut in the HSR 3.8 update. The patch is expected to launch around December 17, 2025, if version 3.7 follows the usual 42-day duration. HoYoverse will announce the exact release date, along with the upcoming content, in the future livestream.
