Sungjae Im recently provided an update after completing three weeks of injury-free military training. Im last played at the Korea Championship at the Woo Jeong Hills Country Club, and following that, the professional golfer didn't play any events.

Recently, Im shared an update about a three-week military training that he took during the PGA Tour off-season. He shared pictures about the same and shared his experience, saying:

"9th Marine Brigade 91st Marine Battalion after 3 weeks of training. Thanks to the fans who worried about me during the training camp, and many of you, I feel like I was able to finish the training without any injuries. Now I want to spend the remaining 544 hours of volunteer work with the dream trees. It's already been 2 years since I won gold in the 2023 Asian Games Golf Group Competition and qualified to be transferred to Artistic Sports Agent. Actually, in the 20 years that I started playing golf seriously, I haven't held my hand for more than 3 days, and I was worried about myself before the preparation for the PGA season next year." "I wanted to reflect on that mind and become an example of a society that as Korean citizens, can solve the problem of this department that we have to solve someday. Of course, due to three weeks of training and volunteer activities, my personal practice time will be shorter, but I will try to move forward with more focus and I believe that my abilities will be restored again. I hope you will support me a lot. Thanks again to my fans for supporting me to get here and I hope you all stay safe from this cold winter cold. And well done to all the officers and assistants. On November 21, 2025, I was ordered to graduate Lee Sung-jae," he added.

In his last tournament, Sungjae Im finished tied for 42nd place with a total score of 1 under.
