Succession actor and podcaster Dasha Nekrasova has been dropped by the Gersh talent agency following a widespread industry backlash due to a resurfaced podcast interview with far-right commentator Nick Fuentes.

As per Variety, her talent agency, Gersh, has formally dropped her, and she has allegedly been dropped from the next thriller, Iconoclast, in the wake of the backlash. The move by Gersh was preceded by a second wave of interest in a YouTube episode of Red Scare in which she and her co-host Anna Khachiyan were seen discussing highly controversial and politically provocative issues.

The since-deleted interview on YouTube was initially published on October 10, 2025, and had not received much mainstream industry attention at the time, but as it continued to spread more widely within the entertainment community, it sparked rapid criticism.

It is claimed that the episode had been viewed over 220,000 times and reposted 69,000 times. Before this scandal, Nekrasova had been involved in several film projects. She co-wrote and starred in the indie film Wobble Palace (2018), was featured in Softness of Bodies (2018), PVT Chat (2020), and later had a role in the dark comedy Bad Behaviour (2023).

Since this is an emerging incident, the full scope of the career implications for Nekrasova is still being determined.

What Dasha Nekrasova discussed with Nick Fuentes in the controversial episode

In the controversial episode of the YouTube channel Red Scare, named Fuentanyl OD, Nick Fuentes × Red Scare (Dasha Nekrasova and Anna Khachiyan), Nekrasova and her co-host Khachiyan conducted a very broad, highly provocative interview, which reportedly covered sensitive political and ideological themes.

Below the YouTube upload, Dasha Nekrasova points out what she calls “technical problems,” and the consequence is that the viewer gets practically no continuous video. Rather, the episode is more of an audio recording, periodically rotating through a few still shots of Nekrasova, Khachiyan, and Fuentes.

The conversation explores the increase in prominence of Fuentes, his ambitions, and his views on the world, while the three of them address the problems of immigration, the so-called Groyper army, and the vaccine debates. The hosts and Fuentes also discussed non-white immigrants, and their comments regarding assimilation and population dynamics were offensive to many.

Fuentes also talked openly about his mental health, sobriety, social anxiety, and his political future, including the possibility of running for office. Yet the political effect of his ideas, and the way Dasha Nekrasova framed the discussion, immediately raised criticism as soon as the episode started to go round.

This is not the first time Nekrasova has faced significant backlash. In a 2023 interview published by The New Yorker, she was quoted as saying,

“Francis is not the real Pope, we all know it. … You’re not gonna get rid of the Freemasons. You’re not gonna get rid of the Jews. They infiltrated the Church a long time ago.”

Fuentes is widely condemned in mainstream media; he has been publicly referred to as a white nationalist, particularly for his leadership within the “Groyper” movement, which many describe as a white supremacist network.
