Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors have a decision to make after the 2025-2026 season, when his contract expires.
One of the best coaches in NBA history, given all he's done throughout his career, he’s someone the Warriors likely want to keep around.
During his time with the Warriors, he's won four NBA championships, won the Coach of the Year award in 2016, and was named a top 15 coach in NBA history.
While the Warriors' success could be, in part, due to some of the players they've had on the roster, Kerr has done a great job at keeping them in check, something that's very valuable around the NBA.
When speaking on an appearance of the “TK Show,” Kerr admitted that if the Warriors want him back after next season, he'd love to be in Golden State.
He added that coaching with the Warriors, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green is something he loves and wouldn't be able to say no to.

"If they want me back, I’d probably say yes," Kerr said. "How could I say no to the Warriors, Steph and Draymond?"
It'll be interesting to see how the Warriors make decisions in the next few years. Keeping Kerr around seems to be the right idea, but there's also a scenario where he could look to retire or coach a different team after Green and Curry depart, as retirement is likely near.
However, despite some Golden State fans not being too happy with him at times, it seems to be the right decision to bring him back and allow him to go out with who he started it with.
