Stephen Nedoroscik reveals Ilona Maher's message to make special appearance on Dancing with the Stars

Stephen Nedoroscik recently revealed Ilona Maher's message to make a special appearance at the 34th season of the dance reality show 'Dancing with the Stars'. The double Olympic medalist gymnast and the Olympic bronze medalist rugby player had made it to the grand finale of the previous season.

Nedoroscik shared a screenshot of his conversation with Maher on his recent Instagram story. The 27-year-old gymnast also shared a selfie from Los Angeles to confirm his arrival for the special appearance.

During the conversation, Maher simply asked,

"Can you come This week to DWTS?"

Nedoroscik replied,

"My doctor cleared me to but I haven't got a flight yet [I can be easily convinced]"

Maher responded by commenting,

"Do it!"

Stephen Nedoroscik and Ilona Maher had waltzed their way to the grand finale of the 33rd season of 'Dancing with the Stars'. While Stephen Nedoroscik was mostly the fan favorite, Ilona Maher earned her way to the top after a whirlwind campaign. Nedoroscik fourth overall despite getting the affection of the jury for his grand finale performance alongside dance partner Rylee Arnold, while Maher and her dance partner, Alan Bersten finished as runner-up.

When Stephen Nedoroscik reacted to a fan thanking him for single-handedly reviving the interest in men's gymnastics

Stephen Nedoroscik once reflected on a fan's appreciation for his achievements at the Paris Olympics. During the DWTS Tour Live, a fan reacted to one of his performances by writing in the comments section,

"Stephen, you have single-handedly expanded the interest in men’s gymnastics and have a whole lot of new fans!"

An elated Nedoroscik responded by commenting,

"that’s so sweet!! I can’t wait for my comeback"

Nedoroscik previously underwent hip surgery after a disappointing show at the US Gymnastics Championships. He highlighted some of the facilities he received at the hospital through his Instagram stories. The gymnast wrote in the caption of one of his Instagram stories,

"You get special air if you have asthma"

When the surgery was successful, Nedoroscik added in the caption of the other Instagram story,

"Great successful Ouch Ouch Ouch"

Stephen Nedoroscik aims to maintain his performance at the international level despite the setback at the US National Championships this year. The 27-year-old gymnast is already aiming for the Los Angeles Olympics, which is scheduled for mid-July in 2028.
