Japanese striking megastar Nadaka didn't just win the inaugural ONE atomweight Muay Thai world championship on Sunday night in Tokyo - he announced his arrival as Japan's most complete striker in a generation.
The 24-year-old Eiwa Sports Gym warrior dismantled Thai veteran Numsurin Chor Ketwina with a flawless five-round performance at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri to etch his name in the history books as the division's first king inside a jam-packed Ariake Arena in Japan.
Nadaka dictated terms with ruthless efficiency. Right off the bat, the ten-time Muay Thai world champion baited Numsurin forward with crisp counters and slick feints.
The Thai attempted to claw his way back in round two, but Nadaka continued to stay one step ahead. By round three, the gulf in class became impossible to ignore.

Numsurin threw desperate single shots, hoping to change the tide. Sadly, nothing materialized. Meanwhile, the Japanese fighter authored a symphony of violence and connected with surgical precision.
Nadaka picked apart his opponent from distance with punches, kicks, and step-in knees that landed whenever he wanted them to in the fourth frame. Meanwhile, round five sealed the deal for the Japanese warrior.
He moved, feinted, struck, and circled with total mastery while the Thai warrior gamely tried finding that miracle shot to turn everything around.
Official result: Nadaka defeats Numsurin Chor Ketwina via unanimous decision
Nadaka looked sharp and every bit the generational talent he's been hyped up to be. Calling his five-round display a memorable victory might even be an understatement.
On the offense, everything he fired away at his opposite number was nailed down to a tee. In defense, his world-class fight IQ helped him stay out of Numsurin's dynamite power.
The 24-year-old brought the right strategy to pick apart the Thai veteran and hand him his maiden defeat in the Circle. Numsurin may have threatened on occasions, but it wasn't anything new for the Eiwa Sports Gym martial artist.
All in all, the Japanese fighter showed why he's now an 11-time world champion in 'The Art of Eight Limbs.' Sure, there may be more successful athletes out there in the discipline, but he is slowly carving his name into the history books of Thailand's treasured art.
This dominant display on the global stage of ONE Championship pushed the Japanese phenom's absurd win streak to 40 consecutive victories spanning six years. He's now a perfect 4-0 in the world's largest martial arts organization.
