The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly signing a veteran wide receiver.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Steelers are signing Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
"Marquez Valdes-Scantling is now signing with the Steelers, per source. He’s in Pittsburgh now," Fowler wrote.
And so ends the wait for MVS landing in Pittsburgh.
Back on Oct. 27, Fowler reported that Valdes-Scantling was set to sign with Pittsburgh, but the move never happened.
MVS' former teammate, quarterback Aaron Rodgers, explained what was going on with that.
"I love MVS," Rodgers said, per ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "I think MVS wants to be on an active roster, so if there wasn’t an opportunity here for that, then I guess he’s waiting for something else.”
