Pittsburgh Steelers fans are out in full force to show their hype for one of the team's 2026 NFL Draft picks.

According to Fanatics, quarterback Drew Allar, the team's third-round pick, ranks No. 4 in early rookie jersey sales among recent draft picks.

Allar falls behind only the Dallas Cowboys' Caleb Downs and Malachi Lawrence, and the Miami Dolphins' Jacob Rodriguez.

Here's the full top 10:

  1. S Caleb Downs, Dallas Cowboys
  2. LB Jacob Rodriguez, Miami Dolphins
  3. EDGE Malachi Lawrence, Dallas Cowboys
  4. QB Drew Allar, Pittsburgh Steelers
  5. QB Fernando Mendoza, Las Vegas Raiders
  6. CB Chris Johnson, Miami Dolphins
  7. RB Jeremiyah Love, Arizona Cardinals
  8. OT Caleb Lomu, New England Patriots
  9. S Dillon Thieneman, Chicago Bears
  10. EDGE David Bailey, New York Jets

Hope for the future

Allar is just the latest Steelers attempt to find their quarterback of the future, something the team has failed to do since the days of Ben Roethlisberger.

Pittsburgh drafted Kenny Pickett in 2021, but that did not pan out for them.

The Steelers then opted for Will Howard in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but the jury is still out on the Ohio State product after not taking a snap last year.

Howard remains on the roster, but clearly the Steelers are trying to hedge their bet in finding the next franchise quarterback.

But Allar might have to wait at least a year to show his stuff, as the expectation has been that Aaron Rodgers will return for another season.

That said, Rodgers still has not made his decision official.

If Rodgers decides not to return to Pittsburgh, the Steelers will have a three-man competition for the starting job between Howard, Allar and Mason Rudolph.
