The Dallas Stars have signed Aram Minnetian to a three-year, entry level contract; the defenseman will be reporting to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the remainder of the year.

Boston College fell to UConn in the Hockey East Tournament on March 20. Minnetian — who was a member of the BC roster — signed on the dotted line after skating in all 36 games this season for the Eagles on the blueline, finishing with 11 points on two goals and nine assists and a plus-15 rating. Minnetian was originally selected by the Stars in the fourth round (No. 125 overall) of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

Dallas has already officially clinched a berth in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs; this will be the Stars fifth straight year heading to the postseason.

The Stars currently sit second in the Central Division with 97 points across a 43-17-11 overall record.

The defenseman's 36 blocked shots this season at Boston College tied for the team lead. On the international level, Minnetian tallied two assists through six games helping Team USA capture the gold medal during the 2025 U20 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Though, he is also a two-time gold medal winner with the United States at the IIHF World Junior Championship, winning back-to-back gold medals in 2024 and 2025.

In 111 career NCAA games, the Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey native of Minnetian scored seven goals and added 27 assists for 34 points.

The Texas Stars continue a six-game road trip Wednesday against the San Jose Barracuda at 9:00 p.m. CST at Tech CU Arena.
