SRH Retention List IPL 2026: Full list of players retained by SunRisers Hyderabad, Price tags in INR, and Purse remaining

The SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) retained 15 players ahead of the IPL 2026 auction. Hyderabad failed to make the playoffs last year and released a lot of players from their squad.

SRH let go of eight players, including trading Mohammad Shami to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). These players are Abhinav Manohar, Atharva Taide, Sachin Baby, Wiaan Mulder, Simarjeet Singh, Rahul Chahar, Adam Zampa, and Shami.

Shami was their biggest player let go, who was acquired for ₹10 crore ahead of the 2025 season. However, he played just nine matches due to injury and bagged six wickets. In five innings, batter Abhinav Manahor scored 61 runs. Australian wrist spinner Adam Zampa played just two games and picked up as many wickets. All-rounder Sachin Baby played just one match but did not get an opportunity to bat or bowl.

Wrist spinner Rahul Chahar also did not get much opportunity, playing just one match last year. Pacer Simarjeet Singh also played just four games and bagged two wickets. South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder and Indian all-rounder Atharva Taide also played just one match.

While there were strong rumors that South African star Heinrich Klaasen would be released, he was retained by the franchise.

SRH had an average season last year. They finished sixth on the table with six wins and seven defeats from 14 matches. The 2016 champions will aim to better their squad and come back strong in IPL 2026.
