Candace Owens claimed she told Erika Kirk about TPUSA officials who allegedly had "foreknowledge" of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk's death. She did this during her December 18 appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
While discussing what she believed happened before and after the shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, Owens suggested that internal figures at Turning Point USA warranted further scrutiny.
Piers Morgan directly pressed her on whether anyone inside the organization could have known about the killing beforehand, prompting Owens to allege that she had serious concerns about two specific individuals. She asserted that she had privately shared this information with Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow, as well as Justin Strife.
“There is specifically two people at Turning Point USA and I have communicated that information to Erik and Justin Strife that I would not be surprised if they had foreknowledge of Charlie Kirk being assassinated,” Owens said.Morgan then challenged Owens on whether she had any concrete proof to support such a serious allegation. In response, Owens explained that while she had suspicions, she was unwilling to publicly identify the individuals involved without definitive confirmation.
“I’m not going to name. I am not going to name those people. Okay. Because it’s not right for me to name those people until I know for a fact that they (are involved),” she explained. When asked whether she had privately shared the names of the allegedly suspected employees with Erika Kirk, Candace Owens confirmed that she had done so without hesitation.
Piers Morgan sought clarification, summarizing her claim by stating that she had given Erika Kirk the names of two current Turning Point USA employees whom she believed may have been involved in preparations leading up to Charlie Kirk’s murder.
Owens responded by reiterating that she was not making a direct accusation but rather offering guidance on where she believed further investigation should be focused.
“I told them that if I were in your shoes, these would be two employees that I would look further into,” Owens added. What else did Candace Owens say she told Erika Kirk during her discussion with Piers Morgan?

As Owens outlined these claims, Piers Morgan pressed her on whether she possessed any factual evidence to support such serious implications.
“And what evidence do you have that they had any prior knowledge of the murder?” he askedCandace Owens acknowledged that she did not have definitive proof, explaining that the lack of concrete evidence was precisely why she had refrained from publicly naming any individuals
Piers Morgan then raised concerns about the ethical implications of Owens’ private communication with Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. He argued that suggesting possible involvement without evidence could be problematic.
“So you got no evidence, but you’re telling the widow that these two people may have been involved in the murder. But you see the problem,” Morgan added.Owens pushed back against Morgan’s framing of the issue, insisting that he was mischaracterizing her words.
She reiterated that she had never claimed certainty or assigned guilt, but rather had shared concerns she believed warranted further scrutiny. According to Owens, encouraging deeper inquiry did not amount to making an accusation, and she described that process as part of an “investigation” rather than a public allegation.
Candace Owens further elaborated by urging the public to trust their instincts when something feels wrong, suggesting that continued questioning is appropriate until verifiable proof emerges.
Owens stressed that naming individuals should only occur once concrete evidence exists, noting that while she did not have such proof, she found certain inconsistencies troubling and had expressed her discomfort privately.
Candace Owens also stated that the information she relayed to Erika Kirk came from a third party, but she declined to disclose those details publicly. She explained that the individuals involved were private citizens and that releasing unverified claims would be irresponsible.
“Unless I am fully confident that they actually did have something to do, uh, like, here is the smoking gun, I’m not going to name those people. But the people I have named thus far are people that I believe are engaged in a cover-up,” Candace Owens added.Following Charlie Kirk’s death, Erika Kirk took the helm of Turning Point USA as CEO.
Candace Owens, on the other hand, continues to analyze the conspiracy surrounding Charlie Kirk’s death on her YouTube podcast.
