Cunningham’s latest arrival preceded another successful night for the Fever. Indiana overcame a 14-point first-quarter deficit to defeat Connecticut 111-91. Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell led the comeback by scoring 34 points apiece.

Clark also recorded 12 assists, while Mitchell extended her streak of consecutive 20-point performances to 24 games. The two guards have now scored at least 30 points apiece in four games this season, extending their WNBA single-season record for a duo. Aliyah Boston added 14 points as the Fever improved to 26-14 and won for the seventh time in nine games. Indiana also completed a three-game season sweep of Connecticut.
