The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have done this before.
It shocked the NFL when they swapped first-round picks during the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday night. It's not the first time.
They did it in 2021, too.
That year, the Eagles moved up two spots to get the No. 10 overall pick and take DeVonta Smith.
The Cowboys moved down two spots to No. 12 and got Micah Parsons.

Yeah, that sure worked out for both of them.
This time around, it's the Eagles moving up for a receiver again: They got Makai Lemon out of USC at No. 20.
And the Cowboys get a pass rusher again: Malachi Lawrence out of UCF at No. 23.

It's a bit of an eerie historical overlap.
If it works out that way again, neither side will be mad.
But if only one side gets a star out of his deal, it could age poorly with the two teams sharing the hyper-rivalry NFC East Division.
