MMA legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson does a lot of streaming these days and recently got to meet former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland.
‘Tarzan’ is set to return to action in 2026 as he takes on Anthony Hernandez, but the former champion left a lasting impression on Jackson.
The pair met on Adin Ross’ stream and Jackson was left a little shocked after his interaction with Strickland. The former UFC light heavyweight champion claimed there was something wrong with ‘Tarzan’ suggesting it might be autism:
“I’m gonna go ahead and say it, something wrong with Strickland. Something wrong with him. autism or something. No real talk. Something wrong with him.”Get the latest updates on One Championship Rankings at Sportskeeda and more
‘Rampage’ also brought up certain things that Strickland said during the stream, which includes some racial slurs.
“He even said a couple of words that I thought were banned. I am like ‘f*** man, this n**** is crazy,’ he even said n****.”‘Rampage’ finished off by adding that Strickland was unfiltered when speaking and again brought up the autism angle:
“God, Strickland, bro. That m*********** is going to say what is on his mind…there might be some autism there.”Check out ‘Rampage’ Jackson’s reaction to meeting Sean Strickland (Warning: clip contains strong language).
Strickland is one of the most outspoken UFC stars out there, and it’s not just his words that catch people’s attention but his actions too.
When Sean Strickland carried a gun to his MMA gym
Current UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev used to train with Sean Strickland, and the pair don’t seem to like each other.
Strickland had accused Chimaev of picking on weaker opponents a few years back and ‘Borz’ responded to those claims.
While he hit out at Strickland, the champion revealed that the American once brought a gun to the gym:
''I don’t know. When we used to train together, he was normal. Well, one time I got angry with him and the next day he was walking around the gym with a gun, he thought I’d attack him. We had a group chat for our gym, there was one guy from Chechnya in it and [Strickland] wrote something like, ‘I thought all Chechen’s are strong?’ And I wrote him back, ‘You’re an American chicken, I’ll beat you up.’”Chimaev cleared up the issue by saying that it might have been a misunderstanding on his part since his English wasn’t as good as it is today.
