Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players and arguably the best offensive player to have ever walked on the NBA hardwood. However, the future Hall of Famer is often criticized for his controversial career move in 2016.

KD joined the Golden State Warriors after leading the OKC Thunder to an NBA Finals appearance and a Western Conference Finals appearance in his last two seasons at the franchise.

The Warriors were already a championship contender at the time, led by Steph Curry. So when Durant joined them, the fans and some analysts criticized him for turning the Warriors into a super team. In his three-year stint with the Dubs, KD enjoyed massive success. He won two championships and two Finals MVP awards.
