Social media influencer addresses viral LeBron James affair rumors

A popular social media influencer has spoken out about the decades-long affair rumors surrounding herself and LeBron James. 

Julieanna Goddard, also known as "YesJulz," addressed the viral rumors while appearing on a spoof version of the "Hot Ones" with N3on" on Saturday, Oct. 25.  

During the livestream, the brunette influencer, 35, was asked about her relations with James, 40, who's been happily married to his wife Savannah for upwards of 12 years. 

"They're asking if you slept with LeBron," N3on asked, to which she replied, "No, I never did. You got your LeBron question asked. Now let's move forward. Thank you!"

Affair rumors surrounding the NBA star and YesJulz have been circulating since the early 2000s, when the rapper Pusah T. allegedly referenced the basketball icon and influencer in her song "Popular Demand (Popeyes)." The lyrics, "Used to have this white b---h she looked like Madonna though. Heard that she f---ing LeBron, but s--- I don't know," sent the internet ablaze, and for years fans have suggested that Goddard is the woman referenced in the song.

This isn't the first time YesJulz has tried to shut down the rumors.

In a viral video posted to X in 2023, she claimed that she and the Los Angeles Lakers star are simply "friends" and have never been romantically involved or in a room alone together. 

The miami-based entrepreneur and event planner added that her connection to LeBron was strictly professional and came through work related projects. She also claimed that she was once seeing one of his friends, although she refused to name drop.

Unfortunately, her explanation didn't help the situation, as fans flooded social media with comments refuting her claims. 

"denying a rumor like 9 years after the fact makes it suspicious to me," one user commented. 

"She must have signed an ironclad NDA," another wrote. 

"Mouth is saying one thing but the eyes and body language say otherwise," a third quipped. 

"Liar," another added, while another commented, "She def did it." 

YesJulz was also involved in drama with Kanye West 

The LeBron James affair saga isn't the only controversy YesJulz has been involved in. She was also once embroiled in a very public argument with rapper Kanye West, with whom she was rumored to have collaborated professionally. 

The social media influencer, who has 698,000 followers on Instagram, reportedly tried to help promote the rapper's Donda and Yeezy brands. 

While it's unclear what sent their rumored relationship south, West announced on social media in 2024 that he was no longer working with her.  At the time, West posted on Instagram, "All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized."
