Amid his recovery from sciatica, LA Lakers superstar LeBron James took a day off and went on a date with his wife, Savannah James, on Tuesday. The NBA power couple attended Game 4 of the World Series between the LA Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays at Dodgers Stadium.

In a post by MLB on X, formerly known as Twitter, the league welcomed LeBron and Savannah to the World Series. "The King" was rocking a classic blue Dodgers cap and a sweatsuit, while his queen was wearing a white Dodgers cap with black fonts.

The account even called it "LeWorld Series," alluding to LeBron's name and the use of it for memes on the internet.

Fans online reacted to LeBron James' presence in Game 4 of the World Series. James is a huge fan of the sport, though he grew up supporting the New York Yankees. He also cheered the Cleveland Guardians during their run to the World Series in 2016 against the Chicago Cubs.

Here are some of the reactions.

Now he’s a Dodgers fan? Lol

Guess his sciatica isn't bothering him today

Trying to transfer that LeBronto energy to the Dodgers

This dude was a Yankees fan, and Indians fans and a Dodgers fan in a span of 10 years LMAO

Unfortunately for LeBron James and the LA Dodgers, the Toronto Blue Jays tied the World Series 2-2 after a 6-2 victory. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led the way for the Blue Jays, with Shohei Ohtani losing the game on the mound. Ohtani also went hitless at the plate, unlike in Game 3, wherein he got on base a whopping nine times.

The World Series now comes down to three games, with Game 5 scheduled for Wednesday at Dodgers Stadium. The series then shifts back to Toronto for the final two games.

The LA Lakers are waiting for LeBron James to fully recover from sciatica before he makes his season debut. James was initially ruled out for two to four weeks before ESPN's Shams Charania reported that he's targeting a return around mid-November.

Dave McMenamin confirmed on Monday that James is still on track to make his 23rd NBA season official next month.

"We're still in the range of about three more weeks before he would be targeting a return,” McMenamin said on NBA Today. "I have been told by multiple sources over the last several days that his rehab and all of the process to get back to that return date is moving in the right direction. There is good vibes around him."

The Lakers are 2-2 to start the season, with Luka Doncic also on the shelf due to finger and leg injuries.
