With Halloween right around the corner, Nebraska's coach Dani Busboom Kelly spilled the beans about the team's preparation. Despite their busy training schedule, the Huskers are planning to embrace the festive spirit.

In a press conference before the program's faceoff against Wisconsin, the Huskers' coach opened up about the plans for Halloween, stating the team would be having a costume practice this week. When asked if the players approached her for the same, she lightheartedly said they simply informed her, after which she was left with no choice.

"I think so. Probably tomorrow," coach Busboom Kelly said. "Oh, it's just like they kind of told me we're doing that. Didn't have a choice, but I think it's pretty common. Most teams have a Halloween practice, so they have to get their TikToks and their posts in, too." (7:32 onwards)

When asked if she would be participating in a Halloween costume practice, coach Busboom Kelly added:

"Yes, I am. So, you'll probably see a picture of it. I don't think it's too great, but we'll see."

Nebraska Volleyball's Andi Jackson reflects on training under coach Dani Busboom Kelly

Nebraska Volleyball player Andi Jackson opened up on training under coach Dani Busboom Kelly, stating it's fun and fulfilling. In a press conference, she highlighted the coach's participation in fun activities and added that the latter keeps a balance in enjoying and making progress.

"Dani is awesome, and she's in on our jokes," Jackson said. "She's been so fun to have. She's just a girl, you know what I mean? Like, it's just so fun to talk to her because she just gets it. Like she's played here before. She knows what it takes, and I respect her so much for who she is, everything that she does." "And she knows the game and she's competitive, but at the same time, she can have fun," Jackson added. "I would just say the environment is so fulfilling when you leave for that reason because Danny knows obviously there's a fine line between being and having fun. But I think every practice like we do a really good job of like being on that fine line of having a lot of fun but still getting better." (7:30 onwards)

Coach Busboom Kelly was an assistant coach for the team and played for the program when they won the 2006 National Championship title.
