Thursday, Dec. 25 marks Christmas Day both in the United States and abroad. But thanks to the NFL, it now features three big matchups throughout the day. Last year, Beyonce performed an epic halftime performance during the Ravens-Texans game.

In the second game of the day on Thursday, the 8-7 Detroit Lions will be taking on the 7-8 Minnesota Vikings for an NFC showdown, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. ET. Just like last season, the folks at Netflix are putting together another huge halftime performance.

This time, it will feature none other than rapper Snoop Dogg.

Here's everything you need to know about Netflix's 2025 halftime show on Christmas Day featuring Snoop.

Live in Minneapolis at halftime of the Vikings-Lions game on Thursday, Snoop will take center stage. In an official release by Netflix, Snoop's halftime show in Minneapolis will feature chart-topping tracks, holiday spirit, and special guests.

Netflix released a teaser trailer for the show, which is narrated by Grammy-winning producer George Clinton. It looks like it will feature plenty of holiday cheer:

"NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We're servin' up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy," Snoop said via the official release. "That's the kind of holiday magic Santa can't fitin a bag.”

Snoop Dogg, whose rap career began in 1991, has built an impressive music career that has spanned decades. He's become a respected singer, songwriter, actor and record producer, as well as finding a niche as a media personality and businessman.

Dogg has served as a judge on NBC's hit show "The Voice" since 2024, and he was a hit during NBC's 2024 Summer Olympics coverage in Paris.

Snoop Dogg's latest album released earlier this year, "Iz It a Crime," included features with Wiz Khalifa, Pharrell Williams and Sexxy Red, among others. Netflix announced that his halftime performance will include the singing voices of Hunt/X from Netflix's K-Pop Demon Hunters, as well as country music star Lainey Wilson. But you can figure Snoop may have a few tricks up his sleeve with other surprise guests on Thursday.
