Smriti Mandhana’s wedding to Palash Muchhal postponed indefinitely after her father is hospitalized due to illness

Star India cricketer Smriti Mandhana's wedding to Palash Muchhal has been indefinitely postponed. The couple were set to tie the knot on Sunday, November 23. Her father has been hospitalized due to illness, which is why the wedding has now been postponed.

Tuhin Mishra, Smriti Mandhana's manager, confirmed that her father was not well. (via PTI) Srinivas Mandhana, her father, was taken to the hospital in the morning and is under observation. Her manager revealed that the vice-captain of the Indian Women's team decided to postpone her wedding till her father's health improves.

Smriti and Palash have been together for a while and were set to take their relationship to the next level. After having won the Women's World Cup 2025 by beating South Africa in the final at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, Smriti was proposed to by Palash at the historic venue ahead of their wedding.
