The Indiana Fever had a special guest waiting for them after their 111-91 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Friday night.
Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, met Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and the rest of the Fever following Indiana’s dominant home win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Fever shared video of Biles meeting the team, giving fans a crossover between two of the biggest names in American sports.
Biles received hugs from multiple Indiana players before posing for photos with the team. The Fever also shared another look at the postgame meeting.
The timing could not have been much better. Clark and Mitchell had just completed another historic performance, scoring 34 points apiece as Indiana improved to 26-14 and won for the seventh time in nine games.
Clark and Mitchell put on a show for Biles
Clark added 12 assists to her 34 points, recording her fifth double-double of the season with at least 30 points and 10 assists.

Indiana trailed 28-14 during the opening quarter before taking control. The Fever erased most of the deficit with a 10-0 run spanning the first and second quarters. Clark and Mitchell then scored the first 12 points of an 18-2 run that sent Indiana into halftime with a 58-43 advantage.
Connecticut never recovered.

Aliyah Boston added 14 points, while the Fever scored 39 points in the second quarter and another 32 in the fourth. Indiana finished its three-game season sweep of Connecticut and remained one of the hottest teams in the WNBA.
Biles has previously attended Fever games and publicly supported Clark. This appearance allowed her to meet an Indiana team that has developed into a legitimate contender behind its star-studded backcourt.
The Fever will now enter a three-week break for the FIBA Women’s World Cup. Clark, Boston and head coach Stephanie White will travel to Berlin for the event before Indiana returns to WNBA action Sept. 18 against the Toronto Tempo.
Before the break began, Clark and Mitchell delivered one more record-setting show with one of the greatest athletes of all time watching from the stands.
