The New York Jets will be without wide receiver Garrett Wilson for the rest of the season, as coach Aaron Glenn announced that Wilson continues to recover from a knee injury.
Glenn said that Wilson will remain on the injured reserve in an announcement on Friday. The star wide receiver has not featured for the team since injuring his knee in the Week 10 clash against the Cleveland Browns in November.

"No reason to bring him back this year. Who is throwing the ball to him next season?"No reason to bring him back this year. Who is throwing the ball to him next season?
Right move, there’s no point of using him when the season is all but over and we need to tank.
Definitely the smart play, they have absolutely nothing to play for, if he is lucky he will somehow get traded
He must be damaged goods for them to sit him rest of season
The former Offensive Rookie of the Year has had injury troubles this season as he missed two games in October due to another knee issue. The Jets wide receiver has played just seven games this season.
Jets coach Aaron Glenn reveals plans for wide receiver Garett Wilson
Garrett Wilson didn't miss a game through injury in the first three seasons of his NFL career and racked up 1000 yards in each of his first three seasons with the Jets. He will finish with 36 receptions for 395 yards and four touchdowns this season.
Jets coach Aaron Glenn said he was "excited" for Wilson's offseason preparations.
“Garrett’s doing a really good job in his rehab, but what we’re going to do — just talking to docs, talking to him — is we’re going to hold him out for the rest of the season and he will be ready to go as the offseason program starts up,” Glenn said. “And I’m excited about that.”With the Jets 3-11 for the season, Glenn decided not to risk another injury to his wide receiver, calling Wilson a "key cog" of New York's offense.
