After going 5 of 5 for 58 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's first drive, Shedeur Sanders made a huge mistake against the Buffalo Bills. He threw a short pass to Quinshon Judkins, which was so fast that the ball hit the running back and popped up in the air. It was picked off by Bills safety Jordan Poyer.

The NFL posted the play on X.

"Jordan Poyer tip drill INT," the NFL tweeted.

"We’ve seen enough. Bring back Flacco," a fan commented. "Bro Sander has an Int in every game he Started 😭," another fan said.

More joined in to take a dig at Sanders.

"Horrible pass, put Gabriel back in," a fan wrote. "Sh*tdeur," one fan tweeted. "Three things guaranteed. Death, Taxes and a Shedeur INT," another fan commented.

The interception was Sanders' first incompletion of the game. He completed nine passes for 84 yards and one touchdown in the first quarter. The rookie quarterback connected with Harold Fannin Jr. for a 13-yard touchdown to open the scoring.

The Bills bounced back less than three minutes later with James Cook sprinting to the end zone for a 44-yard score. Ty Johnson rushed in for a 2-yard touchdown in the second quarter to put Buffalo in front. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has only thrown three completions for 38 yards.

Shedeur Sanders keeps QB1 role despite disappointing performance vs. Bears

Shedeur Sanders had the worst showing of his NFL career against the Chicago Bears in Week 15. The fifth-round pick completed 18 of 35 passes for 177 yards and three interceptions in a 31-3 loss. Despite the defeat and his disappointing performance, the Browns did not strip him of the QB1 role. Sanders took the blame for the loss.

“We got a loss," Sanders said to reporters after the game. "So I didn’t do good. That’s what sums it up. They showed everything they showed on film. We just failed to execute. That’s it. That’s on me."

Cleveland is 1-3 with Sanders as its starter. He is looking to lead the team to a victory to snap its three-game losing streak.
