Shedeur Sanders gets destroyed by an anonymous NFL assistant coach

Some people felt Colorado Buffaloes product Shedeur Sanders would be one of the first players taken in Thursday's NFL draft. But he instead fell hard as team after team passed on him, leaving him and his camp to languish in the green room in Green Bay, Wis., the site of the draft.

Everyone in the football world seemingly has his or her own opinion on the mercurial quarterback. While plenty feel he has definite star potential, others have dismissed him as a flash in the pan, as well as someone who is arrogant and overhyped.

Heading into the draft, one anonymous NFL assistant coach destroyed Sanders by saying some very unflattering things about the 23-year-old.

Per The Athletic, the coach said that the time he spent with Sanders was "the worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life. He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. ... But the biggest thing is, he's not that good."

Some have pointed to the fact that his father is Deion Sanders, the Pro Football Hall of Famer and Colorado head coach, as the reason he's been massively hyped and have even considered him to be nothing more than a "nepo baby."

The fact that Colorado retired his No. 2 jersey just a few months after his final game there only added to the bad feelings some seem to have about him.
