There have been multiple stories from the past revealed by WWE legends and veterans from the industry that fans have found quite questionable. While some have ended up making headlines as controversial, others have ended up leaving fans in awe. One of those stories came to light recently, which again ended up making headlines all around the globe.
During a recent appearance on the Wrestling Then And Now podcast, former WCW wrestler Lenny Lane revealed that Stacy Keibler faced uncomfortable body-image pressure early in her wrestling career. The star recalled that former WCW star Lodi pushed Stacy to lose weight so she would “look right for television.” The comments reportedly came during her Nitro Girls run, and ended up grabbing quite the attention of fans recently.
"Either we would win or lose or whatever. She would sit on that table and dude, she had cellulite all over her legs. Dude, Lodi would get on her like hardcore, like almost she’d be crying just about.I go, dude, you got to relax on this girl a little bit. He go, no, f**K her. She’s going to be on TV. She needs to look the part, blah, blah, blah. I guess you’re kind of right. And so, yeah, he kind of got on her about that kind of stuff." he stated. The reigning WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion, Maxxine Dupri, has shocked the world with her recent success story, starting from being a part of the Maximum Male Models, to being a part of the top names in the women's division of the company.
During a recent appearance on the Abe Kanan Show, Dupri's joy went beyond limits when she was compared to the WWE Hall of Famer and a potential story between them was pitched. Time will tell what the company has in store for the young star next.
