Shawn Michaels to investigate WWE stars who invaded major show outside the company

Several WWE stars invaded a major show outside the company. Shawn Michaels is going to investigate this incident.

A few weeks ago, several TNA stars invaded NXT due to growing frustration with how they had been treated. As a result, Ava and Santino came up with a joint show called Showdown, where stars from both brands squared off in Survivor Series-style matches. However, it looks like this didn't settle the feud between the companies. This week on TNA Impact, Mike Santana defended his TNA World Title against Ryan Nemeth. During the match, Nic Nemeth's music played, and he was shown walking backstage. However, he was suddenly attacked by a hooded figure. Following this, several NXT stars such as Brooks Jensen, Lexis King, Stacks, Robert Stone, and Charlie Dempsey stormed the ring and ambushed Mike Santana. Several TNA stars like Steve Maclin and The Rascalz tried to intervene, but the numbers were in NXT's favor.

Following this invasion, NXT GM Ava took to social media to wash her hands of the matter, stating she had nothing to do with what happened on Impact. Shawn Michaels responded to her that he would look into the incident.

"I’m looking into it. #TurningPoint," wrote Michaels.

Vince Russo believes Shawn Michaels had a hand to play in Candice LeRae getting a new backstage role

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Candice LeRae secured a new backstage role as a producer. She also reportedly produced a match on a WWE Main Event taping between The Street Profits and Los Garza.

Speaking on Writing with Russo, the former WWE writer said that Shawn Michaels loves Johnny Gargano, who is married to Candice LeRae, and that is how she got the job.

"If that obviously doesn't reek of good old boy network...Shawn Michaels loves Johnny Gargano, Johnny Gargano is married to Candice LeRae, give me a freaking break. A 100-pound woman is going to be the agent for their match?"

It will be interesting to see if Michaels will take serious action against the NXT stars who invaded TNA.
