If anyone is qualified to choose between NBA legends LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, it's fellow legend Shaquille O'Neal.
O'Neal played with both Bryant and James over the course of his career, so he has firsthand knowledge and experience with bot guys.
Shaquille O'Neal picks LeBron James over Kobe Bryant
In a recent interview with the New York Post, O'Neal was asked what player, other than himself, he would pick if he could choose between every player in league history, and he went with James because of how great he was right from the jump.
“I’d probably go with [LeBron James] because Bron — and I know this is a Kobe [Bryant] comparison — Bron had it when he came in,” O’Neal said. “It took Kobe two or three years to get it. Bron had it when he came in, so I’d probably go with Bron.”
O'Neal's selection is somewhat surprising if only because he won multiple championships with playing alongside Bryant in L.A., while he didn't experience anywhere near that same level of success with playing with James in Cleveland at the end of his career.
