Matthew Stafford's LA Rams suffered a 27-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17 on Monday night. Rams quarterback Stafford struggled with his passing as he went 22 of 38 for 269 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

After the Monday Night Football game, Rams coach Sean McVay was honest about his team's performance, suggesting that it was not upto the mark.

"I didn't think we played bad against Seattle (in Week 16), we had our chances," McVay said while referencing LA's loss to the Seahawks from last week. "Tonight, we didn't play very well. We gave ourselves a chance to get back in that game, in the second half, to tie it up, come back from down 21 (points). But it was too much to overcome.

"You give them (Falcons) credit. They made the plays we didn't. I make no excuses."
