If there's anything we learned about the Seattle Seahawks during the Sunday night win over the Washington Commanders, it's that this team is a legit contender.
Granted, the Commanders were struggling mightily before the Seahawks' dominant 38-14 win in Week 9, but Seattle did what you'd expect an elite team to do to a flailing bunch like Washington.
Not only do the Seahawks sport an elite defense, but quarterback Sam Darnold has been everything the team could've hoped for, and then some, and the MVP candidate has the team's offense firing on all cylinders through eight games.
Seattle's contender status apparently isn't lost on general manager John Schneider, either, as the Nov. 4 trade deadline approaches.
According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, Seattle is "very aggressive right now for several positions" ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
Of course, being aggressive and being able to actually make deals are two different things, but this clearly shows that Schneider is all in on this team amid a season in which the Seahawks are looking like one of the NFL's best squads.
As far as where the Seahawks could look to add, there aren't a lot of holes on this team as we enter Week 10, which is obviously great news.
The offensive line is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to positions the Seahawks should definitely add to. Anthony Bradford played well on Sunday night, but that is an outlier for what has been a terrible season for him.
At the very least, look for the Seahawks to add some depth upfront, although that usually proves difficult because there aren't many teams looking to sell off their offensive linemen.
The Seahawks' top-heavy wide receivers room that is led by Jaxon Smith-Njigba could also use another pair of arms. Cooper Kupp hasn't been what the Seahawks hoped thus far and while Tory Horton exploded on Sunday night and looks very promising, it's hard to rely on the rookie for a massive role moving forward.
One thing the Seahawks should not do is trade Riq Woolen, who has been the center of trade rumors since September.
Seattle has been ravaged by injuries in the secondary all season long and now Josh Jobe is dealing with a concussion he suffered against the Commanders. Seattle look to add at cornerback and even safety, not subtract.
The good news is, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported that Seattle is more likely than not to keep Woolen, so it appears the Seahawks may pull him back.
