The Seattle Seahawks still have work to do after securing their first Super Bowl since 2014 and enjoying a productive NFL Draft.
In an effort to strengthen their tight end depth, the Seahawks signed an ex-Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns contributor on Wednesday.
“The Seahawks signed tight end Harrison Bryant on Wednesday,” Seahawks.com’s Ari Horton reported.
“Bryant was a fourth-round draft pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2020 and started in nine games his rookie year. Over his career, he's played in 90 games, starting 27 of them with 10 touchdowns. After his time in Cleveland, Bryant spent time with the Raiders, Texans, and a brief time with the Eagles, signing with Philadelphia as a free agent in March 2025.”
Bryant likely hopes to return to his productive ways with the Seahawks in 2026-27. While far from a star, the FAU product appeared in 65 of the Browns’ 68 regular-season contests from 2020-23, and recorded 200+ receiving yards during three of his four campaigns with the AFC North franchise.
Bryant only logged 86 receiving yards with the Raiders in 2024-25 (nine receptions) and seven receiving yards with the Texans last season (two receptions).
Although it’s unclear if Bryant will play a significant role in the Seahawks offense next year, it’s safe to assume he’s glad to be a part of a Seattle organization looking to build on their near-flawless Super Bowl-winning 2025-26 season.
