Scottie Scheffler isn't part of the TGL as of yet but recently got a taste of the league setup. The World No. 1 golfer was seen testing the SoFi Center amid the news of a Texas-based team's introduction.

TGL is a tech-infused league that is co-owned by Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, and TMRW Sports. The league had its first season earlier this year and is set to kick off its second season later this month.

On Tuesday, December 16, Brentley Romine of Golf Channel shared a clip of Scottie Scheffler swinging at the SoFi Center. Even on the simulator screen, the ace golfer's shot was precise, with the ball landing on the green a few yards from the pin.

Earlier, it was reported that TGL was set to introduce two more teams in the future. According to the Sports Business Journal, two more team trademarks were filed by the league last week. The team names are reportedly the Chicago Links Golf Club and the Texas Golf Club. It will be interesting to see if Scottie Scheffler represents his home team in the future.

Last week, a new team named Motor City Golf Club was also introduced and will debut in 2027. This will bring the total number of teams in the tech-infused league to nine.
