Saquon Barkley scoffed at the public outrage over him hanging out with President Trump on Sunday.
The Eagles’ running back told critics to get out of his mentions on social media after the pair were seen at the president’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey on Sunday — a day before the team’s visit to the White House after their 40-22 rout of the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
“lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT,” Barkley wrote Monday on X. “Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand.

“Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump ! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day.”
Barkley and Trump, who was sporting a MAGA hat, were seen getting off Marine One and talking together at Morristown Municipal Airport.
“What a nice guy he is,” Trump told reporters, as seen in a video on social media. “I wanted to race him, but I decided not to do it.”
The pair were also photographed at the White House with Trump’s grandson, Theodore Kushner, Sunday.

Barkley golfed with former President Obama at Merion Golf Club last October.
The round also included Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and team owner Jeffrey Lurie, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
