Ryan Lochte bragged about his new girlfriend, Molly Gillihan, in a scathing email to his estranged wife, Kayla Rae Reid.
The realtor recently took to her Instagram Stories, saying she was “exhausted” of dealing with her ex as they continue to hash out their divorce.
“This is what I deal with every. single. day,” Reid — who shares Caiden, 8, Liv, 6, and Georgia, 2 with the Olympian — wrote atop an alleged email from Lochte.
“This is after I checked in on our 2 year old with strep throat,” she added.
“This is the tip of the iceberg and I am exhausted. My heart goes out to anyone else navigating a similar situation. Tired of being continuously disrespected behind closed doors. Literally 2/1000 messages.”
In the email, the 12-time Olympic medalist, 41, allegedly wrote, “Molly is a ten times better mother then [sic] you will ever be and I think if it was bad idea we wouldn’t go.
“Look at the offer I just sent to your lawyer and move on with your gold digging life,” he allegedly added.
In response to Reid’s post, Gillihan took to her Instagram Stories, claiming her boyfriend’s estranged wife is spreading a “false narrative.”

“My response? Every text and every DM… Every magazine,” she wrote.
“I’m sorry, I don’t follow Ryan’s ex on insta. I really try and just stay focused on our kids when we have them. But you (Kayla Rae Reid Lochte) or whatever name you chose…. dropped your two year old off with us covered in throw up, no pants, and rushed off as fast as you could to your girls weekend in Miami,” Gillihan claimed.
“You’re a CHILD And I’m exhausted of YOUR false narrative. Your followers love it and crave it. Your lies are for them. Keep it up girl. They’re putty in your hands! Meanwhile, I’ll love on your kids and mine until my last breath.”
Page Six has reached out to Reid and Lochte for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
Reid filed for divorce from Lochte in March 2025 after seven years of marriage, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
A month after the filing, she hinted at “betrayal” as news of their staggering six-figure debt made headlines.
In July 2025, Lochte went public with Gillihan on social media, sharing an image of them hugging.
Two months later, the dad of three revealed he spent time in rehab after Reid accused him of doing drugs in front of their kids.
In January, Lochte announced that he had moved in with Gillihan and her three children.
