The Spurs have been lurking behind the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder all season, but now, their seeding is locked in.

Spurs playoff scenarios 2026
The Spurs have long clinched a playoff spot, owning their first 60-win season since 2016-17.
And now, they are locked into the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. OKC clinched the top seed, with San Antonio remaining in contention late, but unable to catch up before the end of the regular season.
Still, San Antonio will have home-court advantage for a first-round series as the No. 2 seed. With a 32-7 record at home this season, that advantage is one Wembanyama and company will certainly be content with on their path to the title.
