Game nights in this family can get spirited.
According to Robyn Lively and Bart Johnson, a holiday tradition for the longtime couple is getting together with her sister Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
“We have this thing called the Johnson games and it’s a very serious family game,” Johnson, 55, exclusively told The Post at iHeart Jingle Ball 2025. “The kids love it so they come together and we have lots of laughs.”
“Game night is the best,” he continued. “We do a lot of improve games.”
When it comes to playing — may the best actor win.
“There’s a lot of actors in the family — both sides of the family,” Johnson teased. “The Livelys, the Johnsons, the Reynolds. A bunch of actors in the family. It’s a little crazy!”
The “My Family” star and “Teen Witch” actress, 53, are parents to daughter Kate, 20, and sons Baylen, 22, and Wyatt, 17.
Lively, 38, and Reynolds, 49, share daughters James, 10, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, and son Olin, 2.
And yes, the stakes are high, with Lively stating that “of course” it gets competitive.
“In all the best ways,” said Johnson. “It is so fun though.”
The stars have always been a tight-knit crew, with both Robyn and Johnson fiercely supporting Blake amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni. The actor, 41, has been accused of sexually harassing the actress on the set “It Ends With Us” and formulating a smear campaign to “destroy” her reputation.
Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued the actress and Reynolds for $400 million. However, that lawsuit was later dismissed by a judge. Blake has since claimed that she suffered $161 million in damages from the alleged smear campaign. Their trial was recently pushed to May 18, 2026.
In August, an Instagram user wrote, “Blake is a lovely human being! I hope she knows that the multitudes of people who love her is so much greater than the negative voices. Happy Birthday Blake!!”
Robyn replied: “Thank you for this.”
Last December, Johnson defended his sister-in-law, calling Baldoni “a fraud” on X.
The “High School Musical” star has his head in the game when it comes to his 26-year union with Robyn.
“It’s the priority,” Johnson explained to The Post. “We value our relationship and our family far beyond anything else. Our work is great. It’s the icing on the cake. It’s fun, it’s awesome, we love it so much. But we know family is our foundation.”
Robyn noted that the secret to their success includes “lots of fun adventures.”
It’s safe to say that Robyn and Johnson support one another’s goals.
For the “Someone Like You” actor, getting picked to perform on “Dancing With the Stars” is on his bucket list.
“It’s a sore subject,” Robyn teased.
“I’m waiting for that phone to ring,” Johnson exclaimed. “I would do it. I’m in.”
This past season, the star was rooting for Dylan Efron, the real life brother of his onscreen son in “High School Musical,” Zac Efron.
“But watching Dylan was awesome,” Johnson said. “It’s like watching your little brother on the show. I thought he was so good. He did such a good job. He killed it!”
While the dad of three has his dancing shoes ready to go, he also has several other ventures brewing.
“We’ve got a lot of projects in the works, scripts, movies and TV series. We’re reading lots of good stuff,” Johnson said.
But he is keeping tight-lipped on what exactly fans can expect.
“Keep an eye out and tune in!” Johnson added.
“‘Landman’ for me,” Robyn chimed in, to which Johnson added: “Hopefully some more ‘Landman’ for me too. We love working on that show. Taylor Sheridan, you are the greatest!”
Both stars have stepped foot in the wild wild west on the fan favorite Paramount+ drama.
But Lively and Johnson’s bond with the creator, 55, dates back decades.
“We’ve known Taylor Sheridan since the very first day he stepped foot in Hollywood,” revealed Johnson. “When he was a kid we were all in the same acting class together.”
“A fellow actor scrapping our way into the industry,” the podcaster reminisced. “We’ve known him 30 years so it’s really fun. We used to audition for the show for like seven years before he gave us our first role in his universe.”
Lively is also working on Sheridan’s series, “Special Ops: Lioness,” alongside Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman.
“We just hope we stay in the Taylor Sheridan world because it’s a good place to be,” gushed Johnson.
