Ric Flair finds support from ex-WWE star amid controversy

Ric Flair has found some support from a former WWE star amid controversy. The 16-time World Champion is rarely away from the headlines and caused a stir recently on social media.

The wrestling icon faced backlash for his appearances on the platform Cameo. Flair charges $500 for an appearance, but some fans complained about his chaotic behavior in those videos. The controversy began when one user spent nearly $1,000 for a wedding message for his brother, who is a fan of Flair.

The message from the legend took a drastic turn when he questioned why he was getting married and told the groom to "stay her girlfriend." However, former WWE star AJ Francis, aka Top Dolla, publicly defended Flair.

In a post on X (Twitter), Francis wrote that anybody complaining about Flair being Flair didn't understand him.

"Getting mad at Ric Flair for Ric Flair doing some obviously and traditionally Ric Flair sh*t shows me you don’t really know ball…" he wrote.

This isn't the only controversy the former Intercontinental champion has been involved in recently. He had an ugly back-and-forth on social media with Dave 'Hannibal' Nicholson, a Canadian wrestler.

Ric Flair celebrated Christmas with his daughter

With the festive season underway, Ric Flair was keen to showcase his Christmas celebration with his daughter, Charlotte Flair.

Taking to X (Twitter), he posted two photos with the former Women's Tag Team champion and sent wishes to everyone.

"Merry Christmas From The Flairs!!! @MsCharlotteWWE," he wrote in the caption.

The Nature Boy is currently signed with WWE's rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He has been with the company since 2023 and has made a few televised appearances for them.
