Jhostynxon Garcia has the best nickname in baseball: "The Password."
But honestly, it might not even be accurate. If Garcia's first name was your password, would you remember it?
That's less important than the big news for Garcia on Sunday: The Boston Red Sox are promoting their intriguing prospect to Triple-A.
He's heading to Worcester despite some struggles of late at Double-A, going just 2 for his last 19.
Overall, Garcia is hitting .256 with a .748 OPS on the season.
MLB.com ranks Garcia as the No. 6 prospect in the Red Sox organization.
An outfielder from Venezuela, Garcia played in Single-A, High-A and Double-A in 2024 and batted .286 with 23 homers, 24 doubles and 17 steals.

He's a multi-talented outfielder who now joins a loaded Worcester group that also includes top prospects Roman Anthony and Marcelo Mayer. They could all one day be in the Boston lineup together.
Red Sox fans want Anthony and Mayer in the big leagues sooner rather than later.
As for Garcia, he'll likely need some seasoning time in Triple-A.
We've got a suggestion, though. If and when he makes the majors and his jersey is for sale, don't put Garcia on the back. Put 'Jhostynxon.'
