It's turning into quite the annoying, rainy weekend for the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles.
The AL East rivals were scheduled to play a split doubleheader on Friday. They got the first game in, a 19-run output by the Red Sox (13 in the eighth inning) leading to a Boston win.
But then the inclement weather rolled in, and they never played the second game of the doubleheader.
The teams were then slated to play two games on Saturday.
But at about 12:35 p.m. ET, the Red Sox announced that the first game of the day at Fenway Park would begin in a delay.
It's unclear when action might get underway.
If Boston and Baltimore are truly committed to getting two games in on Saturday, it might be one of their longest days of the season.
Waiting around for the rain, playing one, potentially waiting around some more, then playing another? That's a brutal day.

The Orioles will just have more time to sit with their negative thoughts with them now off to a 16-33 start to the season.
The Red Sox are in a curious spot, with Rafael Devers heating up, Alex Bregman injured and still no solution at first base. There's a lot still to be determined for Boston.
They can stay dry underneath the Fenway Park stands in their clubhouse as they figure out how to move forward.
