Rebeca Andrade shared a few glimpses of her latest trip during her break from gymnastics. Andrade last competed at the 2024 Paris Games, where she won four medals.
Since then, the gymnast has been navigating a schedule filled with fun and work. She was present at the Laureus Sports Awards, which was held in Madrid this April. The Brazilian star was supposed to return to gymnastics this year. However, she later announced her break till 2026. She was also absent from the recently held World Gymnastics Championships, like other Olympians, including Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and Jordan Chiles.
Amid her absence from the competition, she was seen embracing her break in Bali, Indonesia. The 26-year-old shared a few pictures from one of her outings, where she is seen posing in a green bikini, amid the ocean, and ahead of a mountain. She paired the bikini with a huge neckpiece made of beads and a starfish-shaped pendant. Andrade also shared of video of herself snorkeling in clear water.
She further shared a video of cycling alongside the coast, for which she donned a blue bikini top and denim shorts.

"I'm resting. It's been very important to me," Andrade said. "It was something I've wanted for a long time, but understanding my priorities, I ended up putting it (rest) off. But today, it's been wonderful."Further, she also announced her decision to stop competing in the floor event, stating it takes a toll on her body and she aspires to compete with her best self rather than just showing up.
"If you ask me today, it's something that's 100 per cent resolved," she said. "I don't want to do it. I go through this every day — I go through pain, tiredness; I know the effort I need to give to have a good performance. I don't want to show up and just do anything; I want to show up to do the best of my ability."
