Jabari Smith Jr. is having a hard time supporting the Atlanta Falcons after yet another defeat on Sunday. The Falcons suffered a disappointing 34-10 loss at home to the struggling Miami Dolphins, triggering the Houston Rockets' power forward to contemplate a life decision.

Born in Fayetteville, Georgia, Smith is a lifelong Falcons fan and has openly shown support for the team as he continues to make a name for himself in the NBA. The NBA star, who inked a five-year deal worth $122 million with the Rockets, has a tattoo of the Falcons logo on his hand, showcasing his connection.

However, the team's loss to the Dolphins, who entered the game with just one win, has seen Jabari Smith Jr. contemplating on removing the tattoo. He made that known on his Instagram story on Sunday after the game ended at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

It was the Atlanta Falcons' fifth loss of the season and the third consecutive defeat, after falling to the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers in the previous two games. The team will be aiming to end the losing streak in Week 9 when they play the New England Patriots on the road.

Starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was absent from the game on Sunday, giving Kirk Cousins the starting opportunity. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 175 yards without a touchdown.

Atlanta Falcons coach believes the team is together after the loss

Suffering such a disappointing loss is capable of destroying the chemistry of a team's locker room. The Atlanta Falcons coach, Raheem Morris, was questioned on how he intends to hold the locker room together after the loss in his postgame press conference on Sunday.

“These guys are together,” Morris said. “This is a team and these guys won't stray away from each other. The locker room will stay together; they'll stay bonded. Not worried about that, but we definitely gotta correct the physical mistakes that we made today. “We gotta correct those mistakes. We gotta be upfront and honest, which we will be. We gotta communicate because where that lacks, that's where the things that you don't like creep in and we won't let that happen. So we'll keep on constantly communicating.”

After suffering a narrow loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the season opener, the Atlanta Falcons built their momentum by winning the next three games. However, they've been the shadow of themselves since then, and Jabari Smith Jr. and the rest of the fanbase will hope to see a change.
