Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is looming as the big offseason domino to fall for the organization.
With Lamar's $74.5 million cap hit for 2026 untenable, the Ravens will be working to either restructure Jackson's contract or offer an extension that will bring his cap number down to a more manageable figure.
Of course, talks for a new contract are likely to last long into the offseason, but given that free agency begins soon, in an ideal world, things would get sorted out sooner rather than later.
But is general manager Eric DeCosta confident that things with Lamar will work out?
"I am, I definitely am," DeCosta said.

Ravens need Jackson deal done quickly
Both the Ravens and Lamar know how beneficial getting a new deal done as quickly as possible is for the construction of the roster this offseason.
Without a new or restructured deal, the Ravens' hands will be tied in free agency, not to mention seriously limiting their ability to sign in-house free agents like Tyler Linderbaum.
So everything lands on the Ravens' ability ot thrash out a deal with Lamar soon rather than later.
DeCosta is confident that things will work out in a positive way for both Lamar and the franchise.
Time will tell if it does.
