Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen had secured his PGA Tour card after his incredible performance at the 2025 DP World Tour Championship. The Danish golfer played at the recently concluded European Tour event in Dubai.

He was in contention for the title but settled in a tie for third place after the final round on Sunday. With that, he finished in 15th place in the Race to Dubai standings and earned his PGA Tour card.

In the final round of the tournament, he started on the first tee and made a par, followed by a birdie on the next hole. He, however, struggled and made two back-to-back bogeys on the next two holes, but then added a birdie on the seventh and a bogey on the eighth.

On the back nine, he made a birdie on the 11th and then three more birdies, along with an eagle on the 14th and a bogey on the 12th, for a round of 4-under. Golf analyst Jamie Kennedy shared a video of the Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen shot that helped him secure his PGA Tour card on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Notably, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen was in the lead after three rounds at the DP World Tour Championship. But he slipped down two spots on the leaderboard after playing a round of 68 on Sunday. Matt Fitzpatrick and Rory McIlroy took the lead in the game after four rounds, and finally, the Englishman won the title by making a par on the playoff hole.
